Terms of service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through www.svarna.co.uk (the “Site”) and form the agreement between you (the customer) and Svarna (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Once you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This does not mean your order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if payment is not authorised, if there is an error with product or price information, or if we suspect fraud.
2. Payments

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

We accept major debit and credit cards through Shopify Pay.

Payment is taken at the time your order is placed.
3. Production Times
-
Most Svarna jewellery is made to order. Production usually takes 3 to 4 weeks before dispatch.

Bespoke or customised designs may take longer.
4. Shipping

UK Orders: Free Tracked and Insured Delivery using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed (1 to 3 working days once dispatched).

International Orders: Tracked and Insured Delivery is available at the following flat rates:

Europe: £15 (5 to 10 working days)

USA & Canada: £25 (7 to 10 working days)

Rest of World: £30 (10 to 14 working days)

Delivery times are estimates and delays caused by couriers or customs are outside our control.
5. Duties and Taxes

Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes, or local customs fees once they arrive in the destination country.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our prices or shipping costs.

Svarna is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance.
6. Returns

Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty: bespoke or customised designs, and engraved items.

Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. All returns must be sent using a tracked and signed-for service.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days once your return is received and inspected.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

We do not currently offer exchanges.
7. Warranty

All jewellery comes with a 5 year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

We will replace lost stones up to 0.15ct once, free of charge.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, theft, or repairs carried out by another jeweller.

Larger stones can be replaced or reset for a service fee.
8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (including text, images, design, and logos) is the property of Svarna and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
9. Liability

Our products are handcrafted in solid gold and made to last. However, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products or this Site.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.
10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal data responsibly. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
